Dyes

Colours.... pleasing, attractive, soothing...adding up to life!!! 
Colours have a very integral part to play in every individuals life, and a life without  colours would be equal to living a life in DARK... 

Clothes in Red, blue, yellow, green....and so on.. have a great influence in deciding the Appearance of people. We become very choosy when it comes to our looks, when its the Time to define our STYLE!!! But while getting so specific on colours has anyone ever tried figuring out the fact behind DYING? 

Dying is a process carried out to create the coloured look to the cloth, and while doing so dyes are used. These dyes often contain heavy metals and harmful elements which contribute to the "COLOURING" effect. Till the dying process, all is fine....But wat comes next is Really DISTURBING!!! 

Once the dying process is done, the Major step following is tbe disposal of the Dyes. They are disposed in Water environments as they (sometimes) get dissolved easily. Water disposal is easier but it has various NEGATIVE effects on the surrounding. 

Water gets highly contaminated with these dyes and temperature of the water bodies rise thus making it very uncomfortable for the water species to survive. Massive migrations take place due to this finally causing a loss in the general bio- diversity of the area. Many metals used in dyes have the capacity of Bio-Magnification, where the metals increae in quantity when entered a life form. A great proportion of the world shares a cuisine of aquatic animals....Thus directly or indirectly OUR food-chain is affected. 

The quality of water is dwendling day by day due to these malpractices and many being unaware are getting adversely affected!!! 

Its now high time that we responsd to these damages that are being done by the us merely for our personal benefits. The water animals are decreasing at an alarming rate. The water environment is being disturbed contiuously... 

It is not suggestible that we stop the dying processes ans start living a Retro- black and white life, But its necessary that we make some contribution in carrying out proper treatment of the dye industry effluents!!! 

The picture clicked is a very RECENT flick which shows that even after having discovered many ways of waste treatment, We, The Humans continue with our irresponsible Behaviour. 

Effluent treatment is a bit costly process, But i guess where we have gained so much from Mother Earth.... money becomes a very valueless when it comes to EARTH's SAFETY................. 

Water Clogging...

Rainy season has arrived... beautiful season... its the time when trees get more greener, animals appear to be more happier. The rich aroma of wet soil, soothing cool breeze, frog with its funny sounds... just sets the human mind in a relaxed mood...
But with the soothing effects also come the adverse effects... adverse effects created by humans.



Every year as the pouring of water from the skies increase the water left with no path to exit starts clogging. Clogging has now become a major problem as it brings in a bunch of other problems with it. Clogged waters facilitate disease spread thus making the entire society unhealthy. Water clogs the roads and railways affecting the transport system. It not only spreads diseases but gets mixed up with the existing water storages thus contaminating them. Certain areas which may be having broken pipelines make a perfect gateway for the contaminated stagnant waters to enter the water supply.

What causes the basic clogging of these waters???

Every year a huge fraction of garbage which includes the plastics wastes, in been dumped into the sewage systems by people. This careless behaviour finally results in what we see every year. water clogs upset the mood ans the real essence of season is lost somewhere deep in these mishaps.

Its indeed the responsibility of the GOVERNMENT to get the sewage systems cleaned before the showers, but is it not OUR responsibility to keep the sewage system clean by not dumping plastics wastes in it??

The responsibility to keep the environment clean is ours and we must give our contribution to help it grow more stringer and cleaner....So that we have a ENVIRONMENT in our future rather than just having the word 'ENVIRONMENT'.
